20 Miles West of Indianapolis Indiana | One thing my neighbors and I have been talking about that makes me bearish is that there hasn't been any big talk of us running out of corn right before harvest. A couple years ago I remember hearing that there was basically no corn in the pipeline right before harvest, and prices climbed.... where are we on pipeline levels right now? I would think after a catastrophe like last year we would be scrambling to find corn anywhere????
This as a young producer wanting to purchase more ground, or bid to expand rented acres makes me nervous in the near term and puts me in the bear camp long term (5-10 years). It just makes me nervous that we can destroy demand so quickly.......
Thoughts? Opinions? Or am I just too chicken to bid right now?????? |
