Sunnyside, WA | Hesston 9260. Run the header to 1800-2000 for triticale, sudan, and alfalfa. Only difference is open the conditioners a little for triticale. Always run the engine full throttle since it goes about 12 mph with no load in low range. I was told not to run in high range for swathing.
I was also told to do the opposite with the header speed than what common sense tells you. If you think you need to speed it up, try slowing it down instead. | |
