I agree on the kick (center) wheel. I guess if you have long straight hay fields and are always raking two moco windrows, no center wheel is ok. However for tedded hay like this or especially windrowed alfalfa on point rows or curves, there is often hay going down the middle that never gets turned. The center wheel would solve this. These wheels float individually and tension can be set on each wheel. Ive found it helpful in heavy alfalfa to increase the tension on the two inner wheels to keep them turning. They see more hay than the outer wheels. The NH rake has a good manual and is relatively easy to change the angle but it works best in the middle of the range per the manual. Jim
