Wheel V rakes are the way to go IMHO. In my position a kick wheel is a must and I also like wheels with independent suspension as they seem to do a better job in rough ground.
I think rotary rakes are good too but first you need to refinance the farm to buy one. The load hay making crew went to a wheel rake because it took 3 days to fix their rotary when it broke. | |
