Adelaide Hills, South Australia | We tried everything from 2 NH trailing rolabar rakes in tandem to a vee rake and single rotor rake and finally got to a twin rotor Krone. The rotary rake is the only thing that is a step up from the rolabar for us. It doesn't drag dirt or other dead stuff up from the ground and if you can drive over it, it will rake it onto a row. It reminds us most of the rolabar but makes a better row. We just drag it out the shed every year, check the tyres, grease it and go raking. Never any hassles unless the operator runs into something!!
You could consider what size or style, side or centre or twin delivery rotary suits your mower and the raking you do.
I can't comment on price in your country, I have no idea, but it did cost us a bit to make all those steps!! |
