West Central Ill. | Im thinking of getting an extra truck not because our crop is bigger but because it is going to be wetter and the grain elevators will be getting to many wet bu for the dryers to keep up in a day. This happened here in 2009 with late crop and there were days when they would shut down at noon or be closed for a whole day trying to catch up on drying and having 1 extra semi to fill doesnt seem like much but if you can fill 1 more load for the day everyday it helps speed the show up when they shut down early which will happen again in my area. And this is a facility with 8 locations that hold 50,000,000 bu capacity. | |
