NW MN | 4020 is just flipping the livestock argument that row crop guys have been too greedy the last couple years. What's more greedy a grain farmer looking for 5+ corn or livestock guy looking for 4- corn.
Just a devils advocate type question. As a grain grower I don't want to ruin my biggest customers or drive them to other feedstocks but I also need to pay my bills and a nice profit would also be apprecitiated. Sounds somewhat cold saying let the market find the balance but that's our system. Just sucks that both sides are playing against stacked decks somehow at the same time with outside interest having major affects on what should be a simple demand and supply issue. | |
