Driftless SW Wisconsin

The Bextra does save hay but is a pain to load big bales into. I tried one. Ended up taking it to the scrap yard.

Question: just how are you supposed to load a 1500+ lb  6 ft diameter bale into one of those things??? I tried every way I could think of. Always ended up dropping a bale on the upper ring at some point which collapses the bent sides and makes it even more difficult to get the next one in.

As far as durability and capacity, these cradles are the best ones I've found. As far as a standard ring and bang for the buck I like these Applegate 2-pc rings.
