Pasco WA. | I have another style of Dammer diker. Ends up doing the same thing. Mine uses chisel plow shanks that I like to run about 8" deep. I only raise sweet corn, no field corn. The pickers have wide tires that run down the row so they never even feel the rough ground. I don't have rocks but some areas do. Corn around here is usually planted following some other crop so it's on flat ground with no old rows. I'll have to post some pictures of no tilling sweet corn into timothy 2 weeks ago. | |
