I didn't have a ton of extra cabbage, but more then I needed right now and I went online and found if you take it from the garden and don't wash it and put it in plastic bags and try to get the air out (I used a vacuum sealer on the smaller purple cabbage) you can store in the refrigerator for a few months. Hope it works.
