Subject: Freezing Cabbage ???

South Central Wisconsin

I seem to have an abundance of cabbage this year. My Mother says quarter it, blanch it, fast cool and freeze it. Internet has about 45 million different opinions..... Throw into this, Mom is a great cook but the worlds worst gardener. What is my best option , AgTalk friends ?
