Manchester is not all that far from me. I go through there pretty regularly heading southwest. Nice to know they pay a premium for naturals. If the price is right that will pay for the bit longer drive. One of the things I noticed on Friday at the Bloomington sale is that there did not seem to be much attention paid to color. Prices on the beef feeders seemed to be based more on quality and heifer vs steer than color. Group size was also a factor. Larger groups brought better prices. Looking at this year's corn I should have some nice "fats" to sell late next April. Thank you Mike. Jim |
