We drilled about 100 acres of bmr forage sorghum this year with our Deere 1690 drill in 15" rows. After wheat harvest, we are planning on seeding another 30 acres of 90 day BMR sorghum. Wondering if sorghum benefits from more precise spacing with a planter? Can forage sorghum be planted effectively in 30" rows?
