Embarrass WI | I hope your wrapping works, but I don't think it will.
To ferment, you need as little available oxygen as possible. I can't see you getting a good seal doing it the way you did.
I realize your options were severely limited, but don't get your hopes too high.
One point I do know, duct tape does not block oxygen. You need to get a roll of vinyl tape, like used on silage bags. I tried duct tape when I first made bags in the 80's and found out the hard way that it's not airtight. | |
