E.Central MN | Ok. lets not do anything with ethanol, wind power, solar, or any other trivial small portion of our energy needs. Lets just import oil at whatever the price we have to pay. Who cares if our deficit is out of control, why, they'll still sell to us, who else will want to buy all that oil, and S. A. grains and meat? $100 oil, $5 corn, thats going to look cheap if our oil suppliers, etc decide our money is worthless. If you look at Brazil there is a reason they have developed their ethanol industry, their money was devalued and basically worthless. Who's to say we aren't far from that happening here? | |
