...the wild gyrations in various commodity markets are entirely from our leader's actions. They may be well-intentioned, but this is nuts.
I'm thinkin' the kernel of the problem stems from the Washington view that what is declared law at the close of the session will become reality by the next weekend. The reality is every change in all commodity production through distribution is a hugely complex network that takes years to efficiently adjust.
I've no idea why we wouldn't use our enormous natural, conventional resources to remain productive while adjusting to more unconventional energy production as technology allows.
