i know your going to find this really hard to believe, but those old girl actually eat with their tongues!!... its crazy, i know!!


& on a serious note
cows are very easy keepers
most of them are about 1250-1350lb cows
perfect for his conditions
he runs on forage only but alot of improved forage, clover, ryegrass, winter annuals, max q, etc
and tries to manage maturity with grazing intervals
hes not a "true" rotational grazer, but knows what hes doing

no grain supplementation

*(it is neat to watch them ruminate (chew their cud) though, they do more pretending than actually chewing" i think thats where the more digestible better forages come in handy, digestions doesn't drastically improve from mechanical mastication)
