Subject: RE: Internet sales tax advances after Obama endorsement

What dollar figure does your friend figure constitutes a small online business? If he is doing under 1 million in sales a year he is exempt from collecting. I realize a million isn't much in this day and age, but at least they are aware of the cost of making businesses institute this and not making the guy that does $100,000 a year as some side money eat the expense. Besides, give it a month and the online "shopping cart" companies will have it automated.

As much as I hate the idea of more taxes, at least everyone pays their share when it comes to sales tax. Not that it matters around here as everyone just pays the $5 toll to Delaware then do all of their tax free shopping there.
