| Before I built I drew out to scale on a piece of cardboard a top view of shop, measured the size of my tools, benches, cabinets, shelving, etc then drew these out to the same scale on cardstock , and cut them out and labeled what they where. I went as far as color coding tools from storage items, then arranged them to how I would like them placed in the shop. Be sure to draw in your windows and doors and the way the doors swing, so you dont place anything in front of them you dont want there.
This was 9 years ago, and now I think you can get computer programs online to help you too... | |
