Blackstock, Ont | Finally signed papers to have 50x60x18 shop, stick, built and should start construction in next few weeks. Shop will be at home, 120 ft from house, 1/4 mile from main farm. Thanks to advice on board are cementing four up and four down; laying heated floor, ruff in toilet, 24x18 on gable end, 2 man, 6 Window, insulated and steel inside,conduit on walls for electrical. No room for another drive in. Cladding cement with steel too with sandwiched insulation. We crop approx 1500 acres and shop will be for repairs and maintenance only. Just trying to plan interior layout and looking for ideas if anyone has similar or just advice; where to lay lines etc... I have pretty well forced husband into building as would like him closer to home given he is getting older (50) and has had a few scrapes he could not get out of on his own. Do have slight ulterior motive in wanting at least lawn tractor and few shovels out there.... Any advice would be appreciated other than building it bigger. Have already made him go bigger than his original dream of 40x40x16 pole. Have looked at many pics on Site but for you who haven't posted pics post away
