| Depends on what monitor you're using. A monitor like a Pro700 that you leave the stick in all the time. I use the expensive shorter CIH brand stick, the reason is that they don't extend out from the frame of the monitor, so that you are less likely to hit or catch the usb stick.
For my 20/20 monitor, I don't leave a stick in it all the time, and I use a cheaper store bought stick to download or update the monitor.
