It won't kill the worms but will remove their food and shelter source. Nightcrawlers are a problem in some of the forests of MN as they are eating all of the residue causing problems.
Will nightcrawlers thrive in S IL? I don't think they exist in my area. I'm open to anything that works, and when dad retires I will be doing more no-till and using coulter machine.
