many a farmer from the north and east have come to north MO and left a few years later with the pockets lighter for the effort. There is a good reason why some of this ground is NOT tore up and quite a bit more ground should NOT have been tore up. We are generally not blessed with the good topsoil of IA and IL but have the curse of Kansas summers all too often.
