Texas/New Mexico Stateline | I'm always surprised at the difference in class structure going from K to 1st grade. K they are bouncing all over talking out of turn, different projects going on. In first grade they are sitting at desks working on their work, and get in trouble for talking in class.
He needs to do K again it sounds like, or he will not do well in 1st grade. All the kids that were held back when I was in school seemed to do just fine. In fact my good friend in 1st grade got held back and I remember being really up set. But I know it helped him a lot, as he never had to struggle through school. |
