I want to play with it on a trial basis if we ever grow a decent crop again in this part of the world.  Yes, it's expensive N, but it is also a decision you can make when you have a very good idea of what the crop's potential is.  Normal sidedress at V3-V5, you don't have the foggiest clue whether that corn is going to make 70 or 200 bpa. 



I've been trying some mostly on corn on corn the last few years and I'm seeing some pretty good response. I plan to split a couple of fields this year between more N at sidedress vs dry urea applied aerially.
The timing is excellent for high yielding corn.
