SE IA
In 2011 there were a pile of acres put on our waterlogged fields. They were so yellow looled ugly. Guys flew urea on and then it didnt rain for a month and the corn turned green again, but the urea never got rained in.....many were wrong in their judgement about needing oxygen in roots instead of N like they all thought. Id never do it, id rather dribble on with a highboy and drops.

If u sidedress why not put your N on then? Why are we trying to reinvent the wheel? Only way id ever think about flying it on was if it was so wet that we couldnt get in with highboy or hire a haggie. And then after id thought about it i wouldnt do it because if it was that d_mn wet the crop would suck anyhow.

I walked some fields my neighbors flew on, a highboy with drops (even after the fertilizer burn) will do a much much better job, and that is speaking for how poor a plane does.
