this is some info a friend shared with me this week Corn

Calcium .03 lbs/ bu.
Magnesium .06 lbs/bu.
Sulfur .07 lbs/bu.
Potassium .30 lbs/bu.
Phosphate .40 lbs/bu.
Glucose (sugar) 100 lbs/bu.
Water 5000 gal/bu.
Nitrogen 1 pound/bu. ???
Soybeans

Calcium .22 lbs/bu. 7 times that of corn
Magnesium .23 lbs/bu. 4 times that of corn
Sulfur .20 lbs/bu. 3 times that of corn
Potassium 1.45 lbs/bu. Almost 5 times corn.
Phosphate .85 lbs/bu. Over double of corn
Glucose 300 lbs/bu. 3 times that of corn
Water 13500 gal/bu. 2.5 times that of corn
Nitrogen 5.5 lbs/bu. 5 times that of corn

Soybean nodulation requires soil health and biological activity to provide needed levels of N.
