I will try to help you out I farm on the north shore of lake erie soil type is sandy loam wind erosion was a big issue back in the moulboard days long gone now i no till most of my crops on 22'' rows but most plant 30" cover crops range from rye oats radish peas mostly planted after wheat early august as for livestock lots of pigs cattle not so much here but north 1 hour a lot more livestock manure for organic crops should not be a problem drainage is a must in this area tile every 40 feet. custom planting of crops is a phone call away .... ontario minstry of ag and food for more info beleive it or not we are doing the same things you are.
