I'm pretty sure our next room redo will be bamboo, from Lumber Liquidators.  Good prices and I really like the bamboo, they have a lot more styles/patterns/colors now.  I'd recomend lighter color in whatever you use, it shows the dirt less than a darker wood.  Good Luck and post pictures when you are done.
