King City, Mo | i used this quick pitch kit and poured portland cement and builders sand and packed it into the house a 5 gallon bucket full at a time. Then i built the bench outta cinder blocks, 2 blocks plus a cap high i think. I filled the cinder blocks with concrete once they were set. Our shower is cement board, but i went a head and put this paint on stuff that changes color when it dries. it creates a waterproof membrane. 1 bucket was supose to do 2 showers, it took me 2 buckets to do one shower. I don't want water leaks later.
the bench is sloped so the water will run toward the drain. | |
