I run a 5144 twin screw knight and absolutly love it. I was in the same boat and didn't want to hire a tub grinder only to handle the hay or stalks again. I currently run it on a 1486 only for the weight to pull it and its cold out. During this last summer I tried to put in on my 674 utility about 80 hp. it handled the pto. great just not enough weight, and the hitch angle was too low. Alot depends on commodaties you are using as well when you throw a whole bale in it takes very little hp. supprisingly. But if you fill it with corn silage and drive for a little and let it all settle down you need lots of power to get going. It will hold close to 12000 lbs of corn silage full. I mix one bale 1600 lbs. 2000lbs of silage 1000lbs of wet distillers and still have room. The only problem iv'e had is a few shear bolts a year. ( so far anyway)
