I have 200 steers from 400 to finish on 165 foot Big J bunk. I feed 4 times per week. tue,thur,sat and sun. Like to see the bunks slick every saturday am. Steers have feed in front of them all the time. Last year averaged just over 3lbs ADG on killouts. Feed ALOT of WDGS .I have a grab bag of breeds mostly holsteins but some angus, herefords, charolais, fleckvielah, montebeliareds, jersey,guernsey, swedish red, norweiganin red and Illiwara. Summer i feed once a day. | |
