perhaps you better start running an every other day route ( kinda like a trap line ), and keep casually reminding em you Need feed in the bunks otherwise the cattle will not perform to par.
don't know your deal, if your paying on the gain it'll work out....however if your buying feed ( + feedlot markup ) from em and the cattle are not getting fed right....well that can burn ya.
btw, it takes plenty of bunk extra capacity and or Space for once a day feeding.
( make sure the cattle are not to tight...or once a day won't work.)
nother thing is weather: if it ever darn warms up some, the cattle will eat less. | |
