East Central Kansas | So I have been wondering recently about mineral. Some is cheap(relatively) some is expensive, other than that about all I know is feed high mag in spring early summer. I've tried reading/comparing tags on different brands. Can't seem to get a straight answer about what it all means, ask a sales rep, they just try to sell me on what they have or so it seems. Have went back thru my nutrition and feeding notes from college, didn't talk about minerals much, just a couple slides on them. Feel like I may be missing something or buying the wrong thing. So long a** story later, what do you all use, or go by when purchasing mineral? What do you look for in a mineral throughout the year? For cow/calf, backgrounding, finishing calves, replacment heifers? | |
