North End I-15 | "The rich get their ice in the summer , the poor get theirs in the winter ". Don't remember who wrote that but in reading the replies there may be some truth to it .
We had home made icecream 4th of July .
Neighbors had an straw filled root cellar with blocks of ice . One did'nt eat the ice as it was cut from stagnat frozen pond water in the winter . All sorts of neat stuff in it . :>) | |
