back in the 70's they, at least the guys in our area,had most of the stuff you mentioned plus had alot of money tied up in storage,and machinery just to get the stuff out of the silo,plus the fact that once they filled the thing,they were pretty well tied into one program,no changing rations or going with least cost ingredients.
