clicker - 1/20/2013 08:42 why does everyone think they need a barn, why not just pour 40'x120 slab with a line of bunks and a 4-6% slope. bed it down if the weather is cold, otherwise just keep it scraped. out of the mud is 90% of the battle run guard rail on the opposite side the bunks and gates on both ends, to scrape out of, they'll never be on dirt, all the manure gets captured and the slab still drains. i don't see how all these new facilities will ever pay their way, must be all the free silage that the government paid for this summer
got 75% of the cost already, just as well put a roof over it.
