I've never been around the 1530 but we did run a CIH 5400 soybean special for seven years and that's the drill Deere copied when they made the 1530. I do remember that the Deere drill was ALOT more expensive than the 5400 plus the 1530 needed no-till coulters to no-till, if I remember right when I priced the 1530 at a farm show it was like $8,000-10,000 higher than the 5400 by the time you bought the no-till coulters. I think the 1530 is going to do a better job of seed placement than the 750/1560 drill but your limited to 15" rows which limts what crops you can plant with it.
