Subject: RE: Compare 1530 & 1560 Drills

Our neighbor has their 750 setup with the CIH tires and Martin closing wheels. I ran it just a little this spring and it seemed to me like at higher speeds the Martin spade wheels would throw alot of dirt out of the seed trench. We have the Martins on our 7200 planter and they work great there but that's at less than 5 mph, once you get over about 7 mph I thought they threw too much dirt on the drill. We've had really good luck with the Martins on our planter but if I was putting spade closing wheels on a 750 I think I'd go with the Dawn Curvetine II wheel.
