We have never been happy with our 1790, mainly the spacing. We have always felt that the spacing was comparable to that of the old cyclos that we used to run. I am currently working for a soil consultant, and have been acrossed several hundred acres of my neighbors corn that has a 1790 with the eset disc, and IMO they wasted their money on the esets, as I did not think that their spacing was any better with the esets than ours was without them. Also one of the Deere salesman that we try and deal with comes off with a negative attitude about the 1790's. We are going back to a Kinze next year, aftter 3 years with a 1790.
