Faunsdale, AL
Very rarely here, but we have dairy cows and most calve up closer to the barn though still outdoors in pasture. I would suspect a dog or dogs more than coyotes around here.

We have plenty of them, sounds like a wild life show outside most every night with groups yipping at each other from different areas around the house. We finally gave away our last few hens. Over the years we have maintained a half dozen to a dozen hens, but the only way we could is to shut them in "fort chicken" every night. Have had a coyote coming within 50 yards of the house in broad daylight here lately, maybe eyeing our fat cats? I'm going to have to move him along when I get the chance, just getting too brazen.
