Matt, I don't really know. I would not let them out there in a normal corn crop at all. Grazing harvested stalks and picking up a few ears off of the ground might not be an issue. I wouldn't give therm any corn grain in the third trimester but that is just a guess. Probably also varies by cow. Heifers definitely don't need large first calves grown big on grain.
