If you raise your own feed, value it at market value. And when valuing it, use the cash price of the day you start feeding. If you buy your feed, value it at what you bought if for. If you bought the feed to feed your cattle, dont value it at whatever the market is cause you didnt buy it with the intent to sell it, so dont value it as if you would.
