I find it just amazing that there is only a few that get this. (how do people borrow money?) Look at it like this. Say you cheat your corn back to $6 you feed 50 bu, the cattle make $50 thats $7 corn if spot is $7 why go to all the trouble of feeding them . But if you use Spot @$7 and you can make $50 per hd thats $8 corn you'er adding value.
