Thunder Bay, Ontario, Great White North | After reading Garvo's posts about using his brother's loader I thought I should post a picture of my latest toy - a 2009 Deere 344J loader. Plan is to use it to dig feed from silage bags and other associated dairy farm tasks. In its former life it was used to load old bakery product somewhere in northern Alabama, the machine needs a good bath and it smells enough that my dog got real excited when I drove it off the trailer.
Needs tires real bad, the ones on it are wore down slick. Before that though - first task - a cleaning and a lube job. Anyone have any suggestions on getting grease fittings and lines cleaned out? We tried to give it a grease job today but lucky if one in five zerks takes any. The joys of used equipment...
