If it has been a quick repair job then check the deck for straightness as well as the head . Friend of mine did a 466 that kept blowing head gaskets and discovered the deck has been milled down more on one end than the other. why it was milled we will never know but it needed a new short block to fix it properly.
4020 head gasket blown, any suggestions?
