NW Central Ohio
...I'm an IH guy, and the only thing I know that can foul up a head reassembly on a 4020...is getting too much oil on the head bolts when you put it together. Seems like some of the head bolt holes are blind...meaning they don't go through to the water jacket. Apparently some people get enough oil down in those holes, that the bolt hydraulics against the oil and you don't get a proper torque on it.
