we have a small amount in the top foot or two i saw when ripping here in nw iowa near spencer..below that when doing post holes it was powder dry below a foot or so.we will need 10-12 inches of rain by spring or 144 inches of snow that will most likely run off frozen ground and/or have to be moved to do chores.may be another dry year?
