| with a 12 row head you must have what John Deere calls "contour master" lateral tilt..or what ever other brands call it . I have all rolling ground here in SW IA and with Contour master and "header ht. control" my 12 row works great. Again its the best thing I ever did, I easily get 100 acres/day of 200bu. /acre corn unloading on the go(in larger fields) with 3 guys hauling away with 600 bushel wagons. I don't stop for meals, hired men pack a lunch,eat on the go, their choice..... It only takes 15 minutes total each time to take the head off, load it on the head cart and put it back on. 90% of my ground is with 4 miles of "home plate" so I only take the head off to do the two farms 18 and 8 miles away. | |
