If your wanting to stay with one combine then a folding 12 row head would be the way to go. Otherwise it's going to take two six or eight row combines to do it and unless your dealing with low yielding corn it's going to take two big grain carts to keep up with two smaller combines or one big one. With a non-folding 12 row head where you would have to remove the head to transport it I think with smaller field sizes an 8 row head that can be left on the combine will average just as many acres per day as the 12 row when all is said and done. |
